Shri Vijay Prakash Jain can very well be described as the walking encyclopedia on the matters of Bhartiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal.  He has been so deeply involved in the organisational activities of Bhartiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal (BUVM) that he can describe all events, dates, and names that have anything to do with the trade movement effortlessly and without even referring to any notes, diaries or registers for once.  His dedication to the cause of business and industrial community is complete.  He is at work 24 x 7 days and 365 days a year.

As if it were not enough,  he is the Chief Editor of हम व्यापारी (Hum Vyapari) a national level fortnightly bringing to the business community news and views from the entire length and breadth of India,  various trade organisations, federations, associations, business houses, government offices, secretariats and ministries.  Not a single issue has been delayed / missed in all these six years.  

Born on 10th August, 1942, Shri Vijay Prakash Jain, despite being a veteran,  is very young in his mental make up.  Though ably supported by his staff,  he has adapted himself very well to the era of Information Technology.  When he sensed the desire of his President Pt. Shyam Bihari Mishra to have a website of Bhartiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal in view of the ever-increasing size of the organisation and to meet the needs of the faster and cheaper communication he took up the challenge gladly and came up with the webiste in record time.
